Maybelline New York, Colour Show Nail Varnish - Review

My usual nail varnish choice is Barry M Nail Paints so I decided to go with something a little different, in brand and colour.

I was looking on the Maybelline stand in Superdrug and saw they had a new range of nail varnishes. The colours were very vibrant and the Pow Green particularly caught my eye. I have never bought any sort of green nail varnish before so this was a bit of a big step for me.

I decided to try my new purchase out a few days after I bought it when all of my previous nail varnish was chipped beyond repair.
The nail varnish had a smooth application but as soon as I tried to go over a section I had already the paint had partly dried so creased. I only needed two coats to get the colour to where I wanted it and it touch dried relatively quickly but to completely dry it felt like hours.

I was most impressed by how well the nail varnish lasted. I did everything I usually do, which involves not looking after my nails at all, and there was hardly any chips.
I finally had to take it off due to it not being appropriate to do some waitress work but up until that point I was very impressed and pleased with my purchase.

When I bought the Colour Show nail varnish it was in conjunction with an offer on Maybelline products. I therefore also bought a Volum' Express, The Falsies, BlackDrama Mascara which I swear by as my favourite mascara. A clear Colour Show Nail Varnish and I was given an old Maybelline New York Nail Varnish in Gemey Paris which is a lovely Coral colour. All for £10.98, absolute bargain. Thank you Superdrug!
