This may have been put on the shelves of Boots months, maybe even years ago but I have only just discovered the wonder of Soap and Glory's Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick.
The back story...
I have been looking for a natural lipstick for so long now because I don't like wearing bold, in your face colours. Come on, my hair is bright enough. I have tried products from Rimmel, Barry M, Collection 2000 and No 7 but they're either too orange and clash with my hair or they are too pale and make me look really ill.
I had heard about the Gloss Stick in a review on YouTube and decided I would go and find this product and test it out.
I rarely use Boots for my make up but this is the only place I know of that sells Soap and Glory products. I tried to find the Gloss Stick but wasn't sure which of the lip products was the right one. I saw there was a lot of plumping lip glosses and was very put off by this as I have quite big lips as it is. Any more plumper and I would start looking like a fish. I finally found it and was further more put off by the £8.00 price tag.
I decided to leave the Gloss Stick in the shop and think over it.
About a week later I found myself in Boots again. I was so tempted to try it out after all the fantastic reviews I was hearing about.
I decided to take the plunge and by it in Nudist. I took it up to the counter and the cashier said it was only £5.00, it had £3.00 off in a promotion.
I tried the product on as soon as I got home and it is amazing. Not only is it the perfect colour but it just glides on and smells incredible. I have been wearing it every day since and I am so hopeful that it will last forever.
I still think it is very over priced but I am so impressed by the Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick I will purchase it again and again. Soap and Glory, even though at this period in my life where I have hardly any money to spare, you have drawn me in to your gorgeous brand.
Thank you Soap and Glory, my mission for a natural lip stick is complete.
