The main reason I use the same products is because I have dodgy skin. I have found in the past I am allergic to certain shampoo/conditioners, shower gels and other beauty products, so when I find something my skin likes, I prefer to stick with it.
I have been using Simple's Daily Moisturiser for some time now and though I should try some of their other products out and see what they are like.
I decided to try out the Simple Eye Make-up Remover as after I have my shower in the morning I look slightly like a panda. This product claimed it took off waterproof mascara so surely it would take off all my normal mascara with ease.
I was wrong.
I did what it said on the instructions and put some on a cotton pad, placed it on my eye for a moment or two then wiped downwards. However, instead of wiping a load of mascara off, I looked at the pad and there was hardly any black on it. I tried again and again, it proved useless.
After much work on this product I finally got all of my mascara off. However another disappointing moment was to come. The skin round my eyes had become dry from the product. My skin is usually quite dry anyway, but my usual make-up remover wipes don't cause any sort of dryness.
I know the eye area is very sensitive and the less you pull at the skin round the eye the better, but this product required a great deal of wiping.
I haven't been this disappointed in a product ever but this product was not a good purchase at all and I don't think I will be using it again.
Onwards to the next new product. Let's hope it will be less disappointing than this one and more like the Soap and Glory Gloss Stick!

Interesting post, let me know if you find another decent remover which doesn't create any dryness as I have dry skin & am currently trying to find a remover :) thanks X
